This true story is not for the faint of heart. It tells the story of how ISIS takes over a small village and the atrocities that are inflicted. Nadia survives this and tells her survival in raw emotional words. Nothing is sugar coated and for many this will not be an easy read. I have to admit it was difficult for me to read but I was glad to have had the opportunity to hear this young woman's tale of survival, God bless her. I received a copy of this book from the Blogging For Books program in exchange for my review. This review is my own honest interpretation.
