Deuki Hong and Matt Rodbard present you Korean-American food through the lens of Korean American communities through the country. As an Asian-American, I truly this appreciate this and am so pleased to read stories and interviews and hope that readers can get a better understanding on how Asian cuisine -- and families and communities, are uniquely shaped by American culture and influences.
The cookbook itself is very well-designed and sleek. The recipes look delicious and super approachable for the beginner cook. The book also serves as a very informative guide on Korean food. Many of the recipes were unfamiliar to me and thus I think this book is also handy and compelling to advanced cooks as well.
One of my favorites of 2016 so far!
