I've been pretty big on the paleo diet since 2012 and have seen pretty awesome results with it for myself and my family. Eating (and feeding my family) healthy foods is really important to me so it was easy to get excited about Nourished by Lia Huber.
On top of being passionate about health and good food, Lia is also passionate about travel and Jesus! Obviously this was the book for me.
I fell so in love with this book. I made a delicious chard crostini she shared the recipe for, and even though I hate baking, I am chomping at the bit to make her pastel imposible (impossible cake, in Spanish)... which is where you pour flan batter on top of cake batter, yet pull out a cooked cake which has completely flipped layers! I can't wait to make it with my kids and call it science ;]
