I am an avid knitter and crocheter and my favorite aspect of the process is working with color and texture.  I thought this book might be helpful in devising color schemes for my projects.

It wasn't.

Highly technical, I can see how this book would be helpful for graphic designers, interior decorators, and fabric designers, especially those without an intuitive sense of color.  But for fabric hobbyists like me?  Beyond an interesting tutorial on color theory, no.  CMYK and RGB formulas, anyone?

I'll stick with my time honored formula of standing dreamily in the yarn store, pulling out skeins of yarn until I've come up with a mix that feels right.
