I just received this a few days ago and read it right away--I couldn't put it down. There is nothing overly pleasant in this book--or pleasant at all--but it is so important and so gripping. The fight against the Islamic state has been a dirty, difficult battle, and it is imperative to understand and read the stories of those who have been directly involved and affected by it. It is shocking to read not only what happened to Murad, but also to see what actions were taken to help those hurt, which was often nothing. So many of us today don't even consider the fact that these atrocities still occur, but they do happen every day in many places. I completely recommend this book. It is gripping, impossible to put down, and will truly open your eyes.
