Like Laura Hillenbrand's Unbroken, Roseanne Montillo takes us to a forgotten time in history.  This time bring to life the rich history of women in sports.  From Betty Robinson to Helen Stephens,  Fire On The Track takes us to a time in history when women were seen as homemakers not athletes.   The Amsterdam Olympics in  1928 paved the way for women in sports to prove they too could bring home the Gold.  Roseanne Montillo is a fine story teller who delivers a must read biographical story that certainly has earn a spot on every inspiring athletes bookshelf.
