I must confess that I’m very late to the ketogenic diet. Until very recently, I had no idea what it was because when I heard the “diet” part, my mind just blew it off like it was one of those other fad diets.
So how did I finally opened my self to the idea? Well, beginning of this year, I had to be more mindful of what I ate because of various factors that was going on in my health. I more cleanly and I listened to my body’s cravings for plant based fats such as nuts and avocado. I soon realized that my body was burning these fatty foods very well and extremely long story short, I found about ketogenic diet.
So what is the ketogenic diet? It is a low-carb, high-fat diet. And it’s all the rage. It’s been the rage for awhile.
