I’ve always brought ice cream but these days, I have a new ice cream maker that I’ve been anxious to try out. I found some great recipes in the latest book from Food52- “FOOD52 ICE CREAM AND FRIENDS”. It has a wide assortment of recipes for ice cream, sorbets, toppings and serving ideas for ice-cream. What I like about this book is the different flavors that Food52 creative team had came up with such as coffee frozen custard, chocolate-hazelnut baked Alaska, Carrot Cake Ice Cream, and Mint-Basil Chip Ice Cream just to name a few. There are also traditional flavors like Blueberry Ice-cream, the Philadelphia-Style Super Vanilla Ice cream and Brown Butter Pecan Ice Cream.
