I am usually skeptical about books with Heaven experiences, it seems like they are popping up all over the place since Heaven is for Real became so popular but I saw this book and decided to give it a chance. Heaven is for Real could have just given people the courage and platform to tell their stories after all. I am glad I took the chance on this book; I found it well written, believable, inspiring, and full of advice on how to be better and experience Heaven on Earth.
The descriptions of Heaven are immaculate and make me want to go there, and it gave me a much better understanding as to the feelings of Jesus. The advice towards the end of the book, about how to experience Heaven on earth, was wonderful and practical. It was advice that everyone can apply to their lives.
I thought this was a very believable Heaven story. There are quite a few out there lately but the fact that Steven didn’t want to leave and has continued to feel that pain makes me believe this. Once you are in Heaven, who really wants to go back to earth?
Reading about how welcoming Jesus was, gives me hope and something to look forward to when I die. I have always thought about Heaven, but having a reference of what it could be like, really brings home the excitement. There were other people mentioned in this book who had similar yet different experiences in Heaven, to me that made it more believable as well.
This was very well written and since it was really short, only 224 pages, it was really quick and easy to read. Perfect for a rainy Sunday or a beach read.
