Everything Beautiful by WaterBrook is an adult coloring book filled with gorgeous illustrations based on Scripture, quotes, poems and music. There are various images including a variety of designs from doodles to full scenes.
After thumbing through the full 96 pages I could hardly wait to watch the colors appear and after much debate finally decided on my first image. I like that the pages are perforated so that they can be removed from the book. Pretty much the only thing I didn't like about this book was that the pages didn't remove as cleanly as I would have liked; but, it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
I liked that the images were printed on one side with details about them on the back such as lyrics and background information. I thought this was an excellent idea because if your chosen medium soaks through the paper you aren't losing an actual coloring page and you also aren't getting a lot of blank pages.
As an artist and crafter, I was also very happy to see that each page listed the artist who illustrated and lettered the image to be colored.
As far as the page quality, the pages are nice an thick so they work well with a variety of mediums. For this particular page I wanted to try alcohol ink markers to see if they would bleed through. As you can see below, they did bleed. But, as mentioned previously, this wasn't really an issue since the pages can be removed and there is no illustration on the back side. I would recommend removing them as opposed to leaving them in the book if you want to use a medium that has the potential to soak through the page.
Overall, I found this to be a high quality adult coloring book with beautiful inspirational images that are unique and easy to color.
I received this book free of charge from Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
