chose to read this book because I was intrigued by the kindness challenge.
Anything that promotes being more kind to friends, family, coworkers and
acquaintances has got to be a positive thing. I wasn't disappointed.
The Kindness Challenge asks readers to choose one relationship we'd like to strengthen, and then goes on to explain how we can do this simply by being more kind. Although I wasn't looking to strengthen any one particular relationship, I did find a great deal of valuable information in the pages of this book.
I was able to identify and work on some of my own negative tendencies, which were holding me back from having more fulfilling and enjoyable relationships with the people in my life. The author's writing style is clear, concise and conversational. She provides plenty of real life scenarios to make her points.
I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who may be stuck in a negative rut, and looking for a way out. Being kind and more mindful of others really is as simple as the author expresses in The Kindness Challenge. Thanks to NetGalley, Blogging for Books and the publisher for providing me with a complimentary copy of this book!
