This book came at the perfect time for the season of life that I'm in. I've been so busy trying to figure out the map of my life, busy making plans and goals and dreams, busy trying to make myself "better"--so busy that I forget to just enjoy my life. The sad thing is I know I'm not alone because I feel like everyone else around me has forgotten to do the same: we don't know how to enjoy our lives in the midst of process, and on the way of our journeys. I think we've become so focused on getting to our respective destinations that we are not aware of the simplicity in life's moments such as watching a sunset each evening. I love this book because it made me slow down and think about what it means to really enjoy my life, and how simple it could be---life's happiest moments take place in the smallest forms like enjoying a cold glass of water on a hot day, or being able to talk to a friend for a few minutes during the day. I've forgotten the little things that bring me joy. Thanks to this book I can now remember what it's like to live life each second at a time and let the little moments bring the joy back into my heart.
