The Full Catastrophe puts together the current debt crisis in Greece. It is a very well written account, outlining the past and how being accepted into the EU changed the dynamics of this grand country. I have lived in Greece and travel every year to spend a couple of months in the spring and early summer and can say that the stories told by the people in this book mirror many of the conversations I have had over the past 15 years speaking with locals on various islands. Greeks are truly hospitable and beautiful people and have a laid back approach to life in general. Government dealings no exception. Anyone interested in the political and financial atmosphere today in Greece will find this a true treasure. I received a copy of this book from Blogging For Books and this review is my unbiased and honest opinion.
