I was excited to read this since I like books that show "evidence" of what the characters are doing or going through. Unfortunately, I also felt as though I was back in my matrimonial law class. The memos between Sophie and David, or the e-mails between Sophie and Maggie are one thing. Including the case law and statutes seemed excessive and unnecessary to me.

I did however like that there was definite first-hand knowledge to the book as the author, Susan Rieger, is a Columbia Law School graduate. Overall, I'd recommend this to others as a light read. Looking forward to Ms. Rieger's next novel.
