If you want to hear the story of Gateway Church and Robert Morris, their founding pastor, then this is the book for you. It is presented in a humble way, and that is quite commendable. It tells what worked for them, and does have a lot of beneficial perspective. Unfortunately, the story of Gateway Church wasn't what I was expecting.
The book is divided into six “parts†with several short chapters in each. For me, two of those six parts were worth focused reading: “Part 3: Blessed Shepherds†and “Part 4: Blessed Leaders.†Those two parts provided some helpful and thought-provoking insight. I skimmed the remainder of the book, slowing down to truly read when something caught my attention.
(I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review).
