Fierce Beauty, Choosing to Stand for What Matters Most by Kim Meeder is a well written book. This book is not at all what I expected it to be when I started reading it. I guess you really should not judge a book by its cover because I would have really off on this one. This book is composed of personal stories of real events that happened in Kim's life including the death of her parents at a young age. It is through these events in life that she finds who she really is and who God is.
This book is about finding true beauty, which she defines as how we live and not how we look. It is also about using your life to serve God instead of yourself. Kim uses her personal stories to shed light on God's love and power. She talks about how little sins that we allow in can cause great problems. This is one of those books that it is a little hard to explain because the explanation doesn't seem to quite do it justice. It is all of these things, but it also a lot more that can't be explained. I guess you will just have to read it yourself. Here is one of Kim's quotes that I really like: "You were not created to be a princess of entitlement but a warrior, fighting to bring love and hope to the world."
